Project: Customized Trading Cards

The client wanted a custom set of cards — in the style of the popular trading card game Magic: The Gathering — that commemorated the adventures of their tabletop RPG group. They provided a wealth of lore to draw from that I used to design and develop cards that would capture memorable moments, player characters, items, locations, and events from their campaign. Drawing on extensive research of MTG game mechanics, the cards utilize both existing game mechanics and entirely original game design, carefully crafted for compatibility with the current edition of Magic and printed on the same high-quality card stock used for actual Magic cards.
